Graphic Recording | The Diary of a CEO Podcast

No more boring notes!

The content is interesting. The topic is important. Let’s not lose it to a lame AI text summary that no one reads!

Instead graphic recording allows me to capture content in a way that makes people actually want to check the summary notes. I draw in real time as I listen to content and use creative illustrations to help act as visual cues that you can talk too afterwards. Plus looking at a drawing is way more interesting and shareable.

Graphic recording example: Podcast summary

This graphic recording is of The Diary of A CEO’s podcast episode, ‘Women’s Fertility & Lifestyle Debate’. It was a 3.5 hour long interview with Dr Mary, Dr Vonda, Dr Natalie, Dr Stacy and Steven Bartlett. It was a super insightful and lively conversation that explored so many elements of women’s health.

I drew in real-time as I listened to the podcast. This meant no pausing. No rewinding. Actively listening and consolidating the information as they chatted.

I love thinking about what imagery will help draw the viewers attention and what quotes really capture the key points of the conversation.

Do I do live illustration for events and meetings?

Yep!

This style of note taking has such a major impact and is a perfect way to make sure people remember information from a conference, workshop or even staff planning meeting.

I do both in-person or online graphic recordings so people can see in real-time the notes I’m taking. Once the event is finished I provide the graphic recording as a timelapse, PNG and PDF so you can share it with everyone and give them a WOW factor to talk about long after the event is finished.
