Live illustration is a phenomenal service that is used to support event speakers and presenters. I capture your content in real time, creating hand drawn notes and visuals that help people remember, engage and share about.

What is live illustration?

Live illustration is THE BEST way to capture the overview of a presentation or topics from an important event.

I create a drawing in real-time at the event that visualises the content being discussed. This includes highlighting the major topics, pulling out key quotes and data points (it’s quite impressive if I do say so myself!). Within 15-20 minutes after the event you’ll receive a polished shareable illustration and Timelapse that shows your message, your brand and your exptertize.

My live illustrations are either projected in real-time onto a screen so people can see my illustration come to life as the presenter speaks. Alternatively it’s kept as a little secret and shared immediately after with the speakers and audience to get a wow effect (that makes them want to brag about the amazing event and share on their LinkedIn!).

  • I attend the event in-person and sit in the room and draw using my Ipad.

    This is the most interactive option and allows me to chat with attendees and get their key takeaways.

    My drawing can be screen-shared in real-time or presented at the end, or during intermissions.

  • Technology is amazing and allows us to run live in-person events and still beam people in from the other side of the world (incredible!)

    This means as long as there is a livestream I’m able to connect in and still draw your event LIVE and share my screen so you can see the illustrations happening in real-time.

  • We all have a thousand online meetings every year. Live illustration is one way to spice it up and keep people hooked. Plus it gives them shareable content that they can post afterwards.

    I join your online event like everyone else and can share my screen to show the progress at any stage or do a big GRAND REVEAL at the end.

  3. Onboarding and tech run through practice.

  4. EVENT TIME - you talk. I draw!

  5. POST-EVENT - you receive your polished illustration + timelapse, ready to share across your channels or with your audience. It helps reinforce your expertise, brand, and gives your audience easy shareable content (to help you reach more people!)

I do live illustrations using my Ipad. This means there is an automated timelapse of my drawing which you get at the end of the event. These are fantastic for sharing on social media, repurposing into digital ads, a post-event treat for your attendees (plus they’ll also probably share on their socials and increase your reach!).

  • For online events I recommend a minimum 2 weeks notice :) For in person it will depend on travel so get in touch asap and I’ll see what I can do.

  • Live illustration services start at $450 AUD (+ GST / VAT) for online events. Get in touch for a nice accurate quote :)

    I can do international events both in person and online just reach out and we can find the best option for your event and budget.

    I do my drawings on my Ipad and it can get projected onto a nice big screen at the event.

  • I love good brand guidelines! They are a fantastic way to make sure your brand is getting visibility (both at and after the event when people can’t stop sharing photos of the live illustrations).

    I’ll send you a little list ahead of time with a request for any brand guidelines, colour palettes and logos that will be used on the illustration.

  • I take confidentiality very seriously.

    Before any event, I confirm with you what’s safe to share publicly and what should remain internal.

    If your session contains sensitive or proprietary information I can:

    • Work under an NDA (non-disclosure agreement)

    • Creat visuals for internal use only (not shared on my channels)

    • Provide a redacted or summarised version for public sharing, so you still get visual content without revealing details.

    This way your ideas stay protected and you can still get the benefit from the clarity, engagement and authority that live illustration brings.
